Hello my lovelies! This will be a quick blog, but enjoy!
We have been doing perimeter! It is really fun this picture is to explain how!
I really loved this goal, because it is one of my favourite maths methods!
Have you ever used perimeter? Tell me how it went in the comments! I hope you guys liked this! Bye! ❤️

Duck Pond!
Hello my lovelies! Welcome back to my blog! I hope you enjoyed my last blog just as much as you (hopefully) will enjoy this one!
We are doing a fair! And Kaupeka (my hub) are making a stall for games. We each have to make our own stand with a game. And for our writing goal this week, we have to make a set of instructions on how to play or make the game. These are supposed to be basic instructions, so don't get mad at me. We had to design instructions for a 5 year old, and a 10 year old. The instructions for a 5 year old were supposed to be simple, like a few steps with only a couple of sentences. For the a 10 year old we had to make it a bit more complex. A couple of my friends and I turned this into a it of a joke, making the 5 year old instructions very simple, and the 10 year old instructions super hard. Like I said before this was a bit of a joke, so please keep that in mind. Here are my 5 year old instructions
Like I said, a bit of a joke, but if you want to see the opposite, scroll a little more. This one is my 10 year old instructions
We had lots of fun doing this goal and creating a fun task.
I hope you liked this as much as I do. Have you ever played duck pond? Tell me how it went in the comments
*PLEASE NOTE* No ducks were harmed in the making of this, the duck required are RUBBER. Please do not take this seriously.
Anyways, thanks for reading I hope you enjoyed! Bye! ❤️

Papau New Guinea
Hello my lovelies! How are you? I'm gonna show you my Papua New Guinea reading task! Enjoy
For our reading we had to create a Papua New Guinea task, and read a small story about Papau New Guinea. We then had to relate and create a drawing on our Chromebooks on how we related! Here's mine:
I will tell you what this says because its kinda hard to read:
Top right:
Story: The people are constantly trying to protect their land
Relation: I thought about this and it kind of reminded me of the Treaty of Waitangi, and how the Maori were fighting for their land
Top Left:
Story: They have not very good drinking water
Relation: When I was in Thailand, the drinking water wasn't very good in some places so we had to buy some
Bottom Right:
Story: They caught fish around the river.
Relation: I remember the days when I used to go fishing with my dad, this triggered a memory
Bottom Left:
Story: They collected sand and panned or broke it down for glass
Relation: It reminded me of a time when I went panning for gold in Queenstown
I hope you liked my blog today! Have you every done a Relation task before? Tell me in the comments below! Bye! ❤️

2020!
Hello my lovelies! Welcome to my blog for 2020! I am so excited to show you everything for this year! Enjoy my blog!
I had a pretty relaxed holiday. I pretty much sat around doing nothing, but I did go camping and went to Queenstown too. It was really fun at both places, I went camping with my dad and sisters, my friends came too with their dad. Our dads made all of the food and our mums were pretty impressed they did it. And then, since our dad took us away, our mum took us to Queenstown. That was super fun too! I loved hanging out there and going to the luge and Wanaka. But other than that, we pretty much chilled at home. I met up with one of my friends but like I said, sat at home being anti-social, watching Netflix and cuddling with my cats (and occasionally my dog).
I'm really looking forward to the year ahead, especially being a year 8 now. I'm so excited for our leadership groups, even though I'm not very good at leading. I hope that I get to zones for swimming too. And I really want to open an art club with my friends. I think that would be so fun! I'm super super super excited to spend the year learning about new things, and spending time with my friends.
I hope I can make it into the leadership group I want, and also get an academic award for writing or reading. I would also like to try getting an award for maths, specifically most growth and development. I really hope I can make these goals happen, and that my friends meet their goals too.
Thank you guys so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed the blog! What did you do over the holidays? Tell me in the comments! Thanks! Bye! ❤️
