Self Isolation Schoolwork! (Maths)

Hello my lovelies! Welcome back! I am going to tell you all about my maths this week! Enjoy!

For maths this week, we did some new strategies. I chose to do rounding and compensating. Rounding and compensating (R&C) is a lot easier than it seems. You have to take away a number and add it back. Super easy. R&C is probably my most favourite -apart from place value- maths strategy. I really enjoyed doing this strategy, even if it was just a little confusing.. Here is my poster!

    Hi Cleo, you’ll need to show me how to do this strategy. I never learned it. Can we check the first couple of examples you gave? Dad
