Writing! Week 4 Term 3

Hello my lovelies! ❤

Welcome back to my blog! Today I am gonna tell you about my writing for this week! Enjoyyy!

For writing we started our planning and drafting for our speeches. We looked at each topic and research for that topic. I am doing health and wellbeing. I really wanted to do this because I am passionate about mental health stuff. There isn't really a DLO for this week, so...

I hope you guys all really enjoyed my blogs for this week. I hope you have a wonderful day! What are you favourite shoes? Tell me in the comments what they are! Bye!

Maths! Week 4 Term 3

 Hello my lovelies! ❤

Welcome back to my blog! Today I am gonna tell you about maths! Enjoy!

For maths we looked at more problem solving. We talked about the rugby games, and also our questions were about the tickets.

The question we answered was:

The Crusaders played the Highlanders at Orangetheory Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Tickets are $24.00.

They were running a deal online, which deal would be the best one to go for if I was buying a ticket for myself and a friend?

1/10 off both tickets

Buy 1 get 1 half price

¼  off 1 ticket

Our answer was that the buy one get one half price was the cheapest!
Tell me how you solved it in the comments! Bye! ❤

Reading! Week 3 Term 3

 Hello my lovelies!

Welcome back to my *delayed* blog. I had this sitting in my blog posts and just forgot to post it. Whoops. I am going to be telling you about my reading for week 3. Enjoy!

For reading this week we did a debate thing based off of why robots should or should not be made. We made a slide and characters and a bunch of stuff. Anyways here it is

Reading! Week 4 Term 3

Hello my lovelies! ❤

Welcome back to my blog! Today I am going to tell you about my reading, which I did with my friends (Katrina, Sophie and Sam)

For reading we did a little debate-type thing on pieces of persuasive writing. Me and my friends looked at one about space exploration. We made a slide with a bunch of stuff on our opinions, so here are the screenshots because I could't be bothered to link the slide.

So yeah. Sorry for that really long blog, but like I said, I hate linking slides, I don't know why I just get really irritated when I do it.

I hope you have a lovely day or night! What is your most favourite aquarium? Tell me what its like in the comments! Bye!

Writing - Week 3 Term 3

Hello my lovelies!!

Welcome back to my blog! Today I am gonna tell you about my persuasive writing for this week. Enjoy!

For writing this week we looked at a thing called persuasive writing, as we were preparing for speeches this term. I suck at speeches :')

For speeches we had to write rhetorical questions for one topic. I couldn't choose because there were so many haha! But I need some help to choose one, so comment what one you think I could do: Health and wellbeing, education, poverty and finally world hunger.

So yeah!

I hope you all enjoyed my blog! Don't forget to comment the subject you guys want to see me focus on! Bye!

Writing! Week 2 Term 3

Hello my lovelies!

Welcome back to my blog! Today I am going to tell you about my writing for this week. See ya down there. Enjoy!

Writing this week was again about Hansel and Gretel. We looked at these three main points for our first workshop; adverbial phrases, dialogue and complex sentences. These three I have mentioned previously but a sum up on all of them is this, adverbial phrases are adding verbs to sentences so like saying "I hastily walked my dog". Dialogue is pretty much a conversation, "How are you today?". Complex sentences are taking an already dependent sentence like, "I drink milk", and making it complex by adding "out of a cup" which doesn't make sense on its own, but together it makes sense. "I drink milk, out of a cup"

After that, we made our own endings for Hansel and Gretel. Obviously with guidance from the teacher, which all people had to have. Here is mine!

So yeah!

I hope you all have an amazing day! How was your school holidays? Tell me about it in the comments! Byee!

Maths! Week 2 Term 3

Hello my lovelies!

Welcome back! Today I am going to talk about maths. Enjoy!

In maths this week we looked at more problem solving. The question I looked at, with my group (Sienna + Petra) was this;

My head was kind of sore after reading this. I'm not the best at maths, so I kind of struggled with this problem, but here was our working, to get the answer. (its the blue theme on the top, also ignore the ugly layout 😂)

So yeah!

I hope you all enjoyed my blog today! Have you ever made a bullet journal? If so, tell me some ideas in the comments! I'm starting one soon. Bye!
