Hello my lovelies! Welcome back to my blog! I am going to tell you about my maths this week! Enjoy.
Maths this week was about multiple strategies. We did this thing called the Strategy Strut, where you used multiple strategies to answer a maths problem. It was a bit of a challenge because it meant that we had to do strategies, and then move on to the next quickly. It kind of hurt my brain a little bit. Then we created our own ones. Here is mine
That's my maths for this week! I hope you guys are doing great! Whats your favourite maths strategy? Tell me in the comments! Have a nice day everyone! Bye! ❤️

Self-Isolation Schoolwork (Writing)
Hello my lovelies! Welcome back to my blog! I am going to tell you about my writing task! Enjoy.
For writing this week, we learned about complex sentences. We had to write 4 complex sentences, they could be crazy normal or weird. Mine is...- I don't know, read one for yourself...
Hope you guys found this blog.. interesting. What is your complex sentence. Tell me in the comments! Bye! ❤️

Self-Isolation Schoolwork! (Reading)
Hello my lovelies! Welcome back to another blog! Today I am going to be telling you about my ANZAC Day reading! Enjoy.
For ANZAC Day reading, we had to do a bit of research on the first world war. We read stories and had to choose out important bits of the stories. You chose one or two sentences, that made you think about something, or feel an emotion, and you wrote the sentence down, and wrote down what you were feeling. This was a very sad task, and even though I have no close relatives (that I know of) who served in the war, I felt very sad for all of the families who lost their family members to the war. Here is my task.
Thanks all for reading! Have a wonderful day! Have you ever done a task like this? Tell me how it went in the comments! Thanks for all of the comments in my more recent blogs too! I love hearing from you guys! See you all soon! Bye! ❤️

Self Isolation Schoolwork! (Maths)
Hello my lovelies! Welcome back! I am going to tell you all about my maths this week! Enjoy!
For maths this week, we did some new strategies. I chose to do rounding and compensating. Rounding and compensating (R&C) is a lot easier than it seems. You have to take away a number and add it back. Super easy. R&C is probably my most favourite -apart from place value- maths strategy. I really enjoyed doing this strategy, even if it was just a little confusing.. Here is my poster!
I hope you guys enjoyed my blog! Have a wonderful day! What is you're favourite maths strategy? Tell me in the comments. See you all next time! Bye! ❤️

Self Isolation Schoolwork! (Writing)
Hello my lovelies! Welcome back to my blog! Today I am going to tell you about my writing! Enjoy
This week for writing we have been focusing on our biography writing skills. We have been proofreading, checking, correcting errors, and doing pretty much any editing you can think of. It has been a bit stressful, but worth it too! Then we made a chart to show people how to edit work correctly, so that it makes sense. I went for a colourful and summery theme! I hope you like it.
I hope you all are doing great! What is a tip that you have for editing? Tell me in the comments! See you all next time! Bye! ❤️

Self Isolation Schoolwork! (Reading)
Hello my lovelies! Before we begin I want to say thank you to everybody who commented on my last blogs! I really like reading all of your feedback, comments and questions! I really encourage others to do so as well! Today we are going to look at reading for this week! Enjoy
During reading this week we focused on looking at false facts and information. We got to do two fun activities and each was about fake news or artefacts. I did both. One was about the difference between fake photos and real photos, and the other was about fake news. We got to play fun games for each. Then we had to write down why fake facts and fake content isn't good.
Thanks everybody for reading! I hope you all have a wonderful day! Have you ever been tricked by fake facts? Tell me what happened in the comments! Hope you liked my blog! Bye! ❤️

Self-Isolation Schoolwork (Maths)
Hello my lovelies! Today I am going to tell you about my maths this week. Enjoy.
Maths this week was super easy. We had to choose a strategy, and then make a short video explaining our understanding of the strategy. I chose reversibility. My problem was 3867 - 1798. Here is how I worked it out.
I hope you enjoyed my blog! Write me down a maths equation, and then solve it using reversibility! Comment your answer below! Bye! ❤️

Self-Isolation Schoolwork (Writing)
Hello my lovelies! How are you today? I hope you are all well! Today I am going to tell you about my writing workshop! Enjoy
For writing, we used our biographies to highlight certain parts of the biography with good spelling rules and stuff. I highlighted proper nouns, headers, and correct punctuation. This task was really easy and is pretty self explanatory. I liked doing this task because we got to explain why we think these things are important, rather than being told that these things are important. Here is mine.
Thanks for reading this! Hope you all are safe and well! See you next time! Bye! ❤️

Self-Isolation Schoolwork
Hello my lovelies! I hope you guys are all well and safe in these tough and strange times. Today I am going to tell you all about my self isolation schoolwork this week. Enjoy
So today I am going to tell you about my reading task. We got on call with our teachers, and were told to make a reading connection. A reading connection is making connections between the book and yourself, or other things the teacher wants you to connect to. We had to read two books to make a connection, and then make a connection between own life experiences. These books were about New Zealand and NZ History. I chose these two books
The Deadly Flu of 1918
Puawai Cairns Te Papa Detective
We were asked to skim through the books, and then used a chart to connect the two books together. Here is some of mine
Thank you guys for reading today's post! I hope you guys are all safe and well during this tough time, and if you need any support please comment and I will get back as soon as I can. Have you ever read either of these? If so tell me what you made of the story! I hope you have a nice day! Bye! ❤️
