Culture

Hey guys! We have been learning culture in Tumu Hub in term 3. So today I am going to be sharing my culture!

I am half Canadian. I have a lot of other cultures but I thought that I am most Canadian so… Anyways. Every year we do something called a Mid-Winter Christmas. You may have heard of this before, or maybe you haven’t. A MId-Winter Christmas is when you get a group of friends together and celebrate an early Christmas, it’s really fun! Sorry if you are Canadian, I haven’t done it in years, so if I get it wrong, I am very sorry! When you do a Mid-Winter Christmas, you go to a friend, or family members house, and give gifts, mess around, basically go crazy like you do at a normal Christmas. It’s not much different from a normal Christmas, except for the fact that Santa doesn’t come (rip off) and basically the adults are the only ones that get gifts.

That’s all I have about Mid-Winter Christmas (tell me if there is anything I missed) in Canada, BYE!
