During reading this week I made a poster with my friend (noticing a theme yet?). We had to read through a story and then add bits of format to the poster. We added why we thought the author added this, maybe for effect or for added drama. I'll show you ours!

Writing!

Hello my lovelies! How are you? I hope you are well! Today I am showing you my writing for this week! Enjoy!

So this week in writing we have been focusing on our Biography. We looked at interesting sentence starters, and created our own. It was a bit tricky thinking of some, but after looking at inspiration it was super fun and easy. I did this with my friend! Enjoy!

Communication

Hello my lovelies! How are you today? Hope you are well! Today I am going to answer some questions for Communication! Enjoy!

Why is communication important for the future?
I think communication is important because soon robots will be here. This could cause major changes and we would need communication for the benefit of others and ourselves.

What are the different ways we communicate messages? 
Online. People use the internet and different platforms to communicate with friends and family, and eve people they don't know. People also communicate in person and by being a pen-pal.

Do we communicate in different ways compared to 10 years ago?
Yes! I think we communicate different in bad ways and good ways. People can be very dry now that the internet and social media is a thing. People didn't really use technology ten years ago. I find this very interesting!

Maths!

Hello my lovelies! Today I am going to tell you about my maths for this week! We did rounding and compensating! Hope you enjoy my blog!

This week our maths focus has been rounding and compensating. We did this with decimals too. We were asked to make a poster about our knowledge on rounding and compensating after we understood what the focus was. The questions were a little hard but super fun! I worked on my poster with my friend. Here it is!

Creativity

Hello my lovelies! Welcome back. Thank you for being here. <3. Today I am going to tell you all about my creativity task! It is kinda like a the collaboration task! Enjoy!

Remember the collaboration task? Yeah, well this is the creativity side of it! I really liked this topic, even though it was a little hard. We had to watch two videos on how to trigger our creativity. It is a lot easier than it seems. Next we had two choices for our create part. We could either do Shape Saga, or 100 Uses for a Paper Clip. Shape Saga is when you have two shapes, and you have to make real life things out of a circle and a square. For 100 Uses for a Paper Clip (I'm going to call it Paper Clip for short) you pretty much have to make 100 uses for a paper clip! I did both, the paper clip one I did by myself, and the shape one I did with my PBL group. I could only think of 55 uses for a paper clip because it was really hard to think of them. Some of them were

Ring
I had a lot of fun with this, and created a lot of interesting ideas. I had some VERY interesting ideas. Of course they didn't make sense knowing me. I will now answer some questions on our slide.

What kind of thinker am I?
I  am a thinker that keeps ideas to myself. I like to express myself in abstract ways, and I hope people will understand. If put in a collaborative task, I will contribute some ideas and try and build on what they say.

What creative thinking skills do I have and which could I work on and why?
My creativity style is my writing, artwork and piano. I think very closed minded, and could definitely work on thinking outside of the box, as I struggle with getting solid ideas. My creativity is limited when it comes to certain things, but when I get an idea, it's usually a good one.

What aspects of creative thinking do I find the hardest?

I think finding getting solid ideas is really hard for me. It takes me ages to think about something, and then I usually second guess myself.

Values

Hello my lovelies! Today I am going to tell you about some stuff we've been doing for our fair PBL. Enjoy!

We have been looking at values in our groups. We have been set values that will help us to think about our collaboration. It will improve our collaboration. The goal I am personally working on is:
Respectfully raise and explore different options and are able to move forward in the direction the team identifies
This means to question and doubt others ideas. Help them work it out but be polite about it. This is a great way to work together to create a master idea. I think I could work on this because I don't really like to contribute ideas, because I am worried nobody will like them. I also think if somebody suggests an idea that I'm not sure of, rather than agreeing I could add on bits that I like. I think this would help me to be a better leader and learner. I think that this would also help our group to be more organised because there would be everybody's ideas, to make a great idea. You would stand out to the crowd, and make people want to play our fair game.

I really value this goal and I hope you see the value in it too.
